LUSARA's first publications
were two short communications to local microbiology and pharmacology congresses
in 1986. Since then, more than 800 pages of articles, books, theses and
conference proceedings have been published. In addition, dozens of talks
have been delivered. We also organized the International Conference
on Antibiotic Resistance (Cuernavaca, 1995), gathering 15 top researchers
and an audience of more than 100. Publications are often used as indicators
of productivity. Based on the number of published papers per dollar invested,
the productivity of LUSARA is much higher than that of any other research
institute in Mexico.
